Ghanaian international, Asamoah Gyan has announced his retirement from football on Tuesday, June 20, 2023. Gyan made this declaration as part of a speech he delivered at the 30th Afreximbank Meeting. Baby Jet, as he was widely referred to had a career that spanned 20 years while he played for 11 clubs. Gyan scored a staggering 216 goals in 417 appearances.
