Ghanaian defender Augustine Ganyo has been named new captain of United Arab Emirates top-flight side Al Hilal FC, Kyfilla.com can exclusively reveal.[ads2]
Ganyo, an enterprising left-back has been appointed the leader of the playing body of the club after just eight months of joining the team.
Augustine Ganyo joined Al Hilal in February this year from Fijai Soccer Academy – a Ghanaian division two outfit under the Western Regional Football Association.[ads3]

Speaking to Jacob Wemegah , the bankroller of Fijai Soccer Academy and the Western Regional Director of United States based non-profit organization – Portable Practical Educational Preparation (PPEP), he said he is not surprised at the players promotion because he is one of the players who actually went through PPEP’s code of ethics for young adults during his spells with Fijai Soccer Academy some three seasons ago.[ads4]
He further advised all players to adhere to instructions by taking their education and trainings seriously and wished Augustine Ganyo and his team well in the upcoming season.
Ganyo was the second player join the Hawks from Fijai Soccer Academy after Foster Kwabena.[ads5]
