Ghana Premier League heavyweight Ashgold Sporting Club have snapped up former Ghana Premier League topscorer Nana Poku.

The 27-year old attacker has joined the Miners on a reported six-month deal after fruitful negotiations.
Nana Poku has inked contractual terms with Ashgold Sporting Club after stint with Qatari outfit Al-Markhiya.
The prolific striker is touted as the replacement for wantaway goal poacher Shafiu Mumuni who has excluded himself from the Ashgold squad ahead of a possible move abroad.
Nana Poku was the topscorer during the 2010-11 Ghana Premier League, scoring 16 league goals for Berekum Arsenal then.

He has previously played for Ashdod FC, Zamalek, Misr El-Maqassa, Al Shabab and Al-Markhiya.
