Kumasi-based Fox FM is reporting that AshantiGold Sporting Club are in close talks with Scottish tactician Frank Nuttall as they search for a new head coach.
The Miners are without a substantive head coach after Romain Folz absconded after just one month in charge of the Ghana Premier League outfit.[ads2]
Assistant coach Thomas Duah has been handed the mantle on interim basis untill the end of the ongoing league season.
But according to Fox FM, the President of AshantiGold SC, Dr. Kwaku Frimpong who is known for his love for foreign coaches, has started talking to Frank Nuttall for a possible return to Ghana.[ads3]
Frank Nuttall was the head coach for Ghana Premier League heavyweight Hearts of Oak before leaving for Ethiopia.[ads4]
He is currently tied with St. Georges FC in Ethiopia and only time will tell whether he will make a return to Ghana to handle AshantiGold SC.[ads5]
