The Communication Director of Asante Kotoko, David Obeng Nyarko has announced the lifting of transfer ban imposed on the club.
Kotoko were banned by the GFA Players Statues Committee from signing new players after four of its former players reported the club for wrongful termination of contracts.[ads2]
The players namely Matthew Kelvin Andoh, Stephen Ayiku Tetteh, Evans Owusu and Abass Mohammed filed sperate complaints against Asante Kotoko.
In its ruling, the Players Statues Committee ordered Asante Kotoko to pay the players GH¢197,800 and banned the club from signing new players.[ads3]
But a post on the social media pages of David Obeng Nyarko reveals that the ban has been lifted after appealing.
