Asante Kotoko are in talks to sign a deal with television company StarTimes according to the Commercial Manager of the club Eric Amoako Twum.
According Amoako Twum, the management of the Ghana Premier League giant want to make streaming of the club’s live matches easier particularly for the fans abroad thus wanting to sign an agreement with StarTimes.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Otec FM, Mr. Eric Amoako Twum said, “streaming live games in this era are very important and possible because of technology. It’s our plan to sign an agreement with StarTimes to give opportunity for those outside Ghana to watch our matches on their phones”, he said..
“That is also an avenue to generate some revenue for the team and the partners, but we will first engage the GFA for a possible approval following the current arrangement between them” He added.

Meanwhile Asante Kotoko are also set to sign four bumper sponsorship deals and a partnership deal with an English Premier League outfit according to the CEO Nana Yaw Amponsah.
