Ghana Premier League heavyweight Asante Kotoko have paid the two months outstanding salaries of the players.

Kotoko players have not been paid since January 2019 despite their impressive form in the Ghana Premier League campaign.
According to media reports, the playing body have also not received their five matches winning bonuses.
However, Kumasi based Light FM have reported that all the arrears have been settled by the Executive Chairman of the club Dr. Kwame Kyei.

According to the report, Dr. Kwame Kyei instructed the management team this morning to make full payment of any debts of which the management have also adhere to the instructions.
Before the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League was suspended, Asante Kotoko were placing 4th on the league log with 24 points.
