Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko have parted ways with two of their players.
Asante Kotoko who are pruning down their squad to a sizeable one as hinted earlier, have parted ways with Evans Owusu and striker Richard Arthur.

As Kyfilla.com earlier reported, Asante Kotoko have terminated the contract of goal poacher Richard Arthur after being deemed surplus to requirement.
He joined the Ghana Premier League heavyweight on a three-year deal in July last year after spell with Ethiopian side Saint Georges FC.

Despite his rich experience in the domestic league after playing an integral role in Wa All Stars [ Now Legon Cities FC) Premier League triumph in 2016 before traveling outside the country to seek for greener pastures, Richard Arthur started only two games for Asante Kotoko in the just cancelled 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season.
Kumasi-based Pure FM have also reported that defender Evans Owusu has also been deemed surplus to requirement and might spend the next season on loan at a new club.

Evans Owusu and Richard Arthur have joined defender Ampem Dacosta who was released by Asante Kotoko few weeks ago.
Meanwhile Asante Kotoko have scheduled to resume camping on September 23,2020 ahead of their CAF Champions League campaign next season.
