Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko have issued an official statement on the back and forth with former coach Maxwell Konadu.
Maxwell Konadu was appointed the head coach of Asante Kotoko in December, 2019 after the sacking of Norwegian Kjetil Zachariassen.[ads2]
He didn’t last long during his second coming at Asante Kotoko as he got fired from the club in December, 2019 following the team’s poor performance in the league season.
Just three months after his sack comes with lots of issues with the former Black Stars ‘B’ coach dragging Kotoko to the Ghana FA’s Players and Statues Committee for compensation.[ads3]
But on Monday, Kyfilla.com reported that Asante Kotoko have written to coach Maxwell Konadu demanding sum of $22,800 for keeping an official vehicle after his sack.
Asante Kotoko are demanding for the $22,800 cash from Maxwell Konadu for refusing to return the car from December 19, 2020 to March 5, 2021.
Hours after the report, Asante Kotoko have finally issued an official communique regarding the back and forth with their former head coach.[ads4]
