Asante Kotoko head coach, Maxwell Konadu has confirmed that his outfit are in talks with eight new players to boost squad.
Asante Kotoko are bolstering their squad for the next season’s CAF Champions League campaign.
Earlier on, reports were rife in the media that some players are on Asante Kotoko radar with talks far in advanced.

Speaking on Angel TV, coach Maxwell Konadu has affirmed that his outfit are in talks with eight new players to beef up their squad for the next league season.
He said that,”Yes we are speaking with eight top players.”
It is believed that Asante Kotoko are in crunch talks with Black Stars all-time leading topscorer Asamoah Gyan, former players Justice Blay and Matthew Anim Cudjoe.

Free agents Shafiu Mumuni and Joseph Esso are also on the wishlist of Asante Kotoko as well as Karela United sensation Emmanuel Keyekeh.
AshantiGold Sporting Club midfielder Abdul Latif Anabila and Ugandan defender Murushid Juuko are also on the wanted list of the Ghana Premier league record holders.

Before making any new additions, Asante Kotoko will be releasing ten players to be able to create space for the new players according to coach Maxwell Konadu.
Meanwhile, Asante Kotoko will start training very soon as the 2020/2021 CAF Champions League season beckons.
