Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Emmanuel Osei Kwame is nearing a return to full fitness as he intensifies his recovery process after undergoing successful surgery.
The goalkeeper underwent successful surgery in June 2020 to correct an anterior cruciate ligament tear at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH) in Kumasi.

Osei Kwame has completed the opening two phases of rehabilitation and is now in the third phase which involves the strengthening of the muscles in the affected knee.

The goalkeeper is now involved in weight-bearing exercises using the static bike and exercising with the balloon ball.
