Asante Kotoko duo of Augustine Agyapong and Clinton Opoku have been handed a call up to the Ghana U-20 for upcoming assignments.
The Black Satellites will commence preparations for the 2022 WAFU Cup of Nations which will be qualifications for the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in 2023.[ads2]
The duo have been handed Black Satellites call-ups following their explosive performance for Asante Kotoko in the ongoing league season.
Both Augustine Agyapong and Clinton Opoku joined Asante Kotoko prior to the start of the 2021/22 league season.[ads3]
Opoku who is 16-year old thus get his debut invitation to the Black Satellites. He joined Asante Kotoko on a four-year deal from lower tier side Phar Rangers.
This becomes the second Ghana U-20 call up for versatile defender Augustine Agyapong who is a 17-year old. He joined Asante Kotoko from lower-tier side Delsamaco FC where he made 18 appearances, scored three goals, and provided 25 assists last term…[ads5]
