Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko have donated GH¢5,000 to support the Offinso accident victims.
This was disclosed by the CEO of Asante Kotoko, Nana Yaw Amponsah during the unveiling of the club’s new management team at the Sports Hotel in Kumasi today.

According to the ace football administrator, the money is to help the victims of the Offinso accident who are receiving treatments at the hospital.
It would be recalled that, Kyfilla.com earlier reported that eight young footballers from a African Vission Academy- a clots club in the Ashanti Region have died in a ghastly car accident at Offinso in the Ashanti Region on Saturday.

It is believed that 34 young footballers of Africa Vision Soccer Academy where involved in the accident, claiming the lives of eight footballers as the minibus they were travelling on plunged into the Ofinso river.

Sadly, six of the young footballers died on the spot while one who was in a critical condition died at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital in Kumasi on Sunday.
Ten of the victims were treated at the St. Patrick’s Hospital and have been discharged while others are still receiving treat at the various hospitals.
