Asante Kotoko defender, Christopher Nettey made his debut for the Black Stars against Sudan on Thursday evening.
Ghana defeated Sudan 2:0 in the 2021 AFCON qualifiers at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium.

Skipper Andre Ayew scored the two goals for Ghana on the day against Sudan.
Christopher Nettey was handed a starting berth and was super on the day for the Black Stars, marshalling the right-back role despite being a first timer in the Ghana senior male national team.

He lasted 68 minutes on the pitch before he was substituted for Amiens FC defender Nicholas Opoku.

Nettey will be travelling with the team to Khartoum three days later for the reverse fixture and he is expected to dazzle again when given the nod.
Meanwhile the victory has cemented Ghana’s position in the group table, leading the pack with nine points plus five goals.
