Ghanaian champions, Asante Kotoko are close to signing Karela United defender Kojo Addai.
The dependable centre-back who is the captain of Karela United has emerged as a huge transfer option for Asante Kotoko as they quest to strengthen their defence.
The deal, according to a close source, has reached the apex stage with an agreement likely to be reached before the end of the ongoing CHAN tournament.
” Kotoko have written for our captain, Kojo Addai and we are still talking with them. It started even before the payer left for the Black Galaxies camp”, a deep throat at Karela United told Kyfilla.com.
Kojo Addai has been a sensation this season for Karela United which has earned him a call-up to the Black Galaxies.
He is currently in Algeria with the Black Galaxies for the ongoing African Nations Championship where Ghana has qualified to the quarter-finals of the competition and will play against Niger on Saturday, January 28.
Addai is yet to play a single game for the Black Galaxies at the CHAN tournament.
