Management of Ghana Premier League giant Asante Kotoko have informed the players to reports in Kumasi on Wednesday 23rd September, 2020 to start preparations ahead of the CAF Champions League competition.
This comes after President Akufo-Addo in his seventieth nationwide address gave the greenlight that football activities can resume on October 30, 2020.

According Opemsuo FM, Asante Kotoko have been informed to report to Kumasi to start training session for both CAF Champions League and the Ghana Premier League.
It is reported that, the players will go through mandatory COVID-19 test before they will commence training at the Adako Jachie training grounds.

Asante Kotoko will represent Ghana in the next season CAF Champions League despite the cancellation of the 2019/20 Ghana league season.
The Preliminary round of matches of CAF inter-club competitions will kick-off from 27th November with the first registration period will start from 21st October to 10th November, 2020.
