Ghana U23 forward Ropapa Mensah has disclosed that Ghana’s all-time leading topscorer Asamoah Gyan and Togolese legend Emmanuel Adebayor are his role models.
According to the 22-year old striker, the success of the two highly revered African footballers inspire him as a young footballer and want his career to reach same level or above in future.

He believes the two players have achieved great success with their national teams and that inspire him as young footballer who also want to achieve greatness in his football career.
In an interview with Cape Coast based Live FM, the former Inter Allies goal poacher said “my role models are Asamoah Gyan and Adebayor. They inspire me a lot as a young footballer.”
Following his recent donation towards the fight against the Coronavirus pandemic in Ghana, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds SC striker was asked how the the pandemic has affected him as a footballer.

He responded by saying, “it has affected me personally and my team as well. We have been training online since the outbreak but we received an email and should everything go on well, we might resume training in May 3.”
Ropapa Mensah had a call-up to the Ghana U23 squad that partook in the 2017 U23 African Cup of Nations.
