Young corporate executive Andy Mintah Yiadom was officially inducted into the prestigious Institute of Directors-Ghana (IoD-Gh) on Friday, 27th June 2025, in a ceremony held at the Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium, UPSA – Legon.

Andy Mintah Yiadom stood out as one of the youngest in his cohort, a testament to his remarkable career trajectory, leadership acumen, and commitment to governance excellence. His induction followed the successful completion of the Institute’s rigorous admission process, which included professional training in corporate and boardroom governance and a qualifying exam, in which he excelled with an outstanding score of 94% far above the 70% benchmark.
AAndy Mintah Yiadom serves as Branch Manager at Unique Insurance, bringing to the role a wealth of knowledge and credentials. He holds an MSc in Procurement and Supply Chain Management and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Supply Chain Management. His professional portfolio is further enriched by certifications in business analysis and consultancy, SQL data analysis, occupational safety and health (OSH), and AI prompt engineering—an impressive blend of traditional management expertise and modern technological insight.
His admission into IoD-Gh placed him among a select group of professionals recognised for their commitment to ethical leadership and sound corporate governance in Ghana. The Institute, established in 1998 through a collaborative effort between the Commonwealth Secretariat, the Commonwealth Association for Corporate Governance, and the State Enterprises Commission, continues to play a leading role in advancing director professionalism across both public and private sectors.
Admission into the Institute remains highly competitive and is reserved for professionals with at least eight years of leadership experience. Andy’s inclusion was therefore not only commendable but also inspiring to Ghana’s next generation of corporate leaders.
The ceremony brought together key industry leaders, mentors, and new members in a celebration of achievement and a reaffirmation of the values that guide Ghana’s professional directors.
