Ghana Premier League outfit, Legon Cities FC have showed interest in free agent Lionel Messi.
The FC Barcelona legend is leaving the club after talks to renew his contract hit the rocks.[ads2]
Messi had his contract with the Spanish Laliga outfit expired and talks were far in advance for a new contract but due to the Laliga financial restrictions, the new contract ended unsuccessfully.

A statement from Barcelona stated that both Lionel Messi and the club reached a new deal but tge player is leaving due to the Laliga financial restrictions.[ads3]
In this regard, Ghana Premier League money spenders believe Messi joining the team would be a greatest addition to the team’s squad that already boast of Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan.
