Asante Kotoko defender, Ampem Dacosta says he is not worried over his release from the club.
The buoyant centre-back has been released by Asante Kotoko after deemed surplus to requirements as earlier reported by Kyfilla.com.

In an interview on Kumasi FM, the former Karela United defender believes his contract was terminated not on perform basis but reasons best known to the technical team of Asante Kotoko.
“I’m not perturbed by Kotoko’s decision to terminate my contract because there are many who sought for this opportunity I had. I will focus on what is ahead of me”, Dacosta said on Kumasi FM.

“I have always loved the club and I never disappointed anytime I was called to duty. I will never give up, this is my profession and I believe there are many opportunities elsewhere”.
“I want to emphasize that, my contract was terminated not on performance basis, the records are there to prove but I believe it is the will of God, someday the truth will be revealed. I thank all the fans for the support they gave me”, Dacosta added.

Ampem Dacosta joined Asante Kotoko on a three-year deal from Karela United in December last year following his spectacular performance in the 2019 Normalization Committee special competition.
