AshantiGold Sporting Club midfielder Amos Kofi Nkrumah is leaving the club after two years of service.
According to a reliable source, the 24-year old has had his contract with the Ghana Premier league expired with talks ongoing for contract renewal.[ads2]
It is believed that the midfielder’s representatives are not happy with the offers from AshantiGold Sporting Club for contract renewal.
Kofi Nkrumah, according to sources, has received offers from some Ghana Premier league clubs including Aduana Stars and Bibiani Goldstars FC.
Despite receiving lucrative offers, the former Karela United talisman, per sources, is willing to renew contract with AshantiGold Sporting Club should they represent an impressing deal.[ads3]
Nkrumah played for Karela United before moving on a 6-months loan deal to Cape Coast-based team Ebusua Dwarfs in May 2018.
He featured in 3 league matches before the league was abandoned due to the dissolution of the GFA in June 2018, as a result of the Anas Number 12 Expose.[ads4]
He returned to Karela United in January, 2019 but moved to AshantGold where he became a key member of their squad.
He was a member of the club’s squad that featured in the 2020–21 CAF Confederation Cup.[ads5]
