Qatari side, Al Sadd have terminated the contract of Andre Ayew on mutual consent.
The Ghana captain has has his contract terminated after almost two years with the club.
A club’s statement reads, “Al Sadd SC has reached an agreement with Andre Ayew to terminate his contract with the club by mutual consent.”
Ayew joined Al Sadd on a free transfer in 2021 after leaving English Championship outfit Swansea City.
The 33-year had bagged four goals with an assist in nine matches this season for Al Sadd.
In his almost two-year stay at the club, the former Olympic Marseille attacker scored 22 goals with 3 assists in 38 matches in all competitions.
The Qatari Stars league in 2021/22 and the Emir of Qatar Cup in 2021 were the trophies that Andre Ayew won for Al Sadd.
Currently his next destination remains unknown.
