President Akufo-Addo has expressed his astonishment over the demise of former minister of Aviation, Joseph Kofi Adda.
The astute financial economist and management consultant was pronounced dead on Thursday, October 14, 2021.
Mr. Adda is said to have been pronounced dead in the early hours of Thursday at the Legon Hospital in Accra after a short illness.[ads2]
And President Akufo-Addo whom Kofi Adda served under his first term as the sanitation minister has sent his condolences to the family of the astute politician.
He wrote that, “I am shocked and very saddened by the news of the sudden death of my friend, the former Minister for Aviation and former Member of Parliament for Navrongo Central, Hon. Kofi Adda. I extend my deepest condolences to his wife and family for their loss, and pray for God’s strength for them in these difficult times.[ads3]
“Kofi Adda will be missed, and will be remembered for his diligence and forthrightness. May his soul rest in perfect peace. Amen”
Kofi Adda was the immediate past member of parliament for Navrongo Central in the Upper East Region of Ghana.
He died at the age of 65.[ads5]
