Abena Antwiwaa Apenteng has graduated from the University of Media, Arts and Communication (UniMAC) with First Class Honours in Public Relations and Marketing, marking the successful completion of four years of academic excellence. The milestone was achieved at the university’s graduation ceremony held on 28 November 2025.

Reflecting on her journey, Abena credits her achievement to unwavering family support, particularly from her mother, whom she describes as the backbone of her academic success. In her words, “I would like to express my deepest gratitude to my mom, whose unwavering love, patience, and belief in me have been the foundation of my academic journey.”
She further acknowledged the sacrifices and encouragement that sustained her through demanding moments, noting that “her constant encouragement and sacrifices made it possible for me to pursue my goals, even when the path felt challenging.” According to Abena, her success is inseparable from that support, adding, “I owe so much of my success to her strength and support.”
Beyond family, Abena highlighted the vital role her friends played throughout her university life. She expressed heartfelt appreciation for their presence during both academic and personal challenges.
“I am also sincerely thankful to my friends, who stood by me through every late-night study session, stressful deadline, and moment of doubt,” she said.
She described how their companionship made the university experience fulfilling, explaining that “their friendship, laughter, and motivation made my university experience not only manageable but truly meaningful. Abena concluded by recognising their influence on her overall growth, stating,
“Each of you has played an important role in helping me grow, both academically and personally.”
