Former Black Stars of Ghana midfielder Mallam Yahaya has said Abdul Salam Yakubu is one of the reasons why Ghana football is not developing.
According to Mallam Yahaya, Abdul Salam Yakubu is incompetent and has failed in managing his own club New Edubiase.
The Karela United assistant coach has reacting to Abdul Salam Yakubu’s comment that no African country can win the FIFA World Cup unless they do their things right just like the Europeans and the South Americans.

“Abdul Salam Yakubu is one of the reasons why Ghana football is not developing. He managed the national team [Black Meteors] same way as his New Edubiase team”, Yahaya told Kingdom FM in Takoradi.
“Abdul Salam Yakubu should check himself before he comes to the public to say no African country can win the World Cup unless we do our things right.
“The state of New Edubiase speaks of how incompetent Abdul Salam Yakubu is”, he added.
