Asante Kotoko SC coach Abdul Karim Zito has send a serious warning to the Club’s supporters and the general public not to interfere in his work for now as he want to fully concentrate on the job at hand.
The coach explains the details behind his appointment to the coaching seat as he was only told about a technical director job.
Coach Zito opined that he want to do the double for the Porcupine Warriors so he need to focus on the MTN FA Cup finals as he is eager to do well to at least hand that silverware to the Kotoko hierarchy and the supporters as a whole.
After the 4-1 thumping of Dreams FC, the coach took to the media to make his position felt by Ghanaians.
“I never knew I was coming to Kotoko. I was just lying down when I had a call, and I was asked to come for the technical director job, not coaching.
Unfortunately, my own boy left, so I had to take over till the season ends. So for now, leave me in peace to work and see out the rest of the league and then the knockout.
I prefer a double, so for the position, it doesn’t matter. What matters now is I’m leading the team, and we have to do better.” He told GSN.
