Asante Kotoko have been handed a huge boost as midfielder Justice Blay has returned to training ahead of Bibiani Goldstars clash in Kumasi.
The defensive midfielder has returned to training after several weeks of being at the treatment room.
The former Medeama SC enforcer sustained the injury in March, 2023 when Asante Kotoko defeated FC Samartex in Samreboi.
Since the injury, Justice Blay has missed eight matches in the ongoing Ghana Premier League of which in those games Asante Kotoko have managed only two wins.
His return comes as huge news to Asante Kotoko who are hoping to beat Bibiani Goldstars at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium this weekend after going two matches without a win.

But it is not known whether Blay will be available for the Goldstars fixture on Sunday.
Meanwhile, about five Asante Kotoko players are likely to miss the Goldstars clash on Sunday after failing to show up for training.
The players include; skipper Richard Boadu, Augustine Agyapong, Georges Imfegue, Enoch Morrison and Matheus De Souza.
Reports say the aforementioned players have not been able to show up for training sessions so far this week due to some sicknesses.
