Ghana has been ranked the 8th highest football exporter in 2022, according to FIFA global transfer report.[ads2]
The West Africa football powerhouse exported 515 football talents in 2022 under retrospect for just $17.4m.
In Africa, Ghana was ranked second with Nigeria placing first and fifth globally with 725 players for $104.m while Ivory Coast came third but 9th in the world with 428 players for $38.3m.[ads3]
Brazil topped the list with 2,061 players for $843.2m while Argentina came second with 1,004 footballers for $380m.
France and Great Britain occupied the third and fourth positions with 921 and 848 players for $591.5m and $249.7m respectively.[ads4]
Others countries that made the top ten include; Colombia, Spain, and Serbia while Portugal placed 11th on the ranking.
