Tanzanian giants, Simba Sports Club have reportedly made a formal approach for Asante Kotoko midfielder Richard Boadu.[ads2]
Per reports, the Dar es Salaam-based club have offered a little over USD$200,000 for the transfer of the highy-talented midfielder who is in a blistering form for Asante Kotoko this season.
The former Medeama SC defensive midfielder has been instrumental for Kotoko this season despite the team’s failure to eliminate RC Kadiogo from Burkina Faso in the first phase of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.[ads3]
Simba SC are strengthening squad for the 2022/23 campaign and have deemed Boadu as a perfect midfielder to bring stability to their midfield.[ads4]
Boadu was on target when Asante Kotoko defeated King Faisal in week four of the Ghana Premier league at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi three days ago.
Should the deal materialized, Richard Boadu will become the second Ghanaian player to join Simba SC this year after former Bechem United talisman Augustine Okrah.[ads5]
