Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu says he will never be troubled should he be sacked from his position in the club.
Boadu has been making the headlines for the past hours after news of his imminent sacking from Hearts of Oak flooded the internet.
Despite winning five trophies in the space of one and half years with the club, reports in the local media indicate that the board of the Accra-based club have decided to sack Samuel Boadu as the head coach as the team prepare for Africa.
It is believed that former Schalke 04 and Salzburg manager Huub Stevens is being considered to takeover from Samuel Boadu as the head coach of the club.
Even though the team struggled in the just ended Ghana Premier League season, Hearts of Oak managed to win the FA Cup which has qualifed the to play in the CAF Confederation Cup next season.
Since the news of his imminent sacking from the club took over the internet space, some connoisseurs in the game have expressed their displeasure, describing Samuel Boadu as one of the successful coaches the club have had in the past years hence deserve to lead the team to Africa next season.
But responding to whether he will be affected should the Hearts of Oak board decide to part ways with him despite a successful stint, Samuel Boadu stated that he is ready to move on should the board of the club take such a decision.
“I know myself and if they decide to sack me, fair enough I will move on. I will only be hurt because of the project am building. The project has not reached anywhere but aside that I am ready to move”, coach Boadu said in an interview with Asempa FM in Accra.
On whether he will be joining Aduana Stars should he be sacked from Hearts of Oak, Samuel Boadu said, ” I am not aware of any deal from Aduana Stars. I am coaching Hearts of Oak at the moment and that’s where my concentration is.”
