Asante Kotoko midfielder Fabio Gama Dos Santos has emerged the Ghana Premier League most attractive player.
The Brazilian has been named the most attractive player according to a survey by African Sports Center for Data, Research and Technology.
The 29-year old has over taken Ghana legend Asamoah Gyan who was bestowed the honour after a survey last season.[ads2]
Gama beat off competitions from Hearts of Oak duo Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Ibrahim Salifu, and attacker Emmanuel Gyamfi, who played for Kotoko last season.
With the extended list to be announced later, the aforementioned names emerged as the top four most attractive players in the Ghana Premier League in the 2020/21 league season.[ads3]
The survey is an annual pre-season report based on a survey conducted across all regions and districts in Ghana as part of the build-up to a new campaign. It has a sample size of 3300.
The report focuses on consumer/fan behaviour in relation to revenue opportunities the Ghana Premier League, particularly in areas of Interest and Awareness, Patronage and Consumption, and Commerce.
Gama pulled 23 percent votesΒ as against Daniel Afriyie Barnieh’s 11%, just one mark above teammate Salifu.[ads5]
Former Asante Kotoko winger Emmanuel Gyamfi came fourth with 5%.
