The Member of Parliament for Amenfi West, Hon Eric Afful on Sunday, May 30, 2021 donated a sum of Gh¢10,000 to division one league outfit FC Samartex.
The legislator made the donation in a meeting with the leadership of the club ahead of Sekondi Hasaacas encounter on the aforementioned date.
The donation is to motivate the playing body of the club as well as the technical bench led by coach Bismark Kobby-Mensah as the fight for premiership slot continues.
FC Samartex are battling to secure a ticket to the next season’s Ghana Premier League with a huge opposition from Bibiani Goldstars.
FC Samartex are currently second on the zone two of the Division One League table with 44 points after 22 matches, six points adrift league leaders Goldstars FC.[ads5]
