Twelve locally-based players have been dropped by coach CK Akonnor from the Black Stars camp ahead of 2021 AFCON qualifiers.
The Black Stars of Ghana play South Africa and Sao Tome and Princepe in AFCON qualifiers this month with twelve players dropped from the final squad.[ads2]
Coach Akonnor has dropped Medeama Sporting Club talisman and Asante Kotoko target Justice Blay from the Black Stars camp alongside the Ghana Premier League leading topscorer Diawisie Taylor.
Also, Asante Kotoko right-back Christopher Nettey and left-back Imoro Ibrahim have all been dropped from the Black Stars camp.[ads3]
