The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has directed Hearts of Oak to play their league matches behind closed doors.
This has come after the Phobians game against Great Olympics at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday.
According to a statement from the Ghana FA, both clubs failed to comply with the Coronavirus directives when they met in week 11 of the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Saturday.[ads2]
The Ghana FA has however condemned the act of the two Premier League clubs and has referred Hearts of Oak who were the host team to the Disciplinary Committee for questions.
Part of the statement reads, “Until the full case is determined, Hearts of Oak shall play the league matches behind closed doors at the Accra Sports Stadium.”[ads3]
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak lost the game 0:2 to Great Olympics with Gladson Awako and Maxwell Abbey as the goalscorers.
