Ghana Premier League giant, Asante Kotoko have been drawn against Algerian side ES Setif in the playoffs of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Asante Kotoko were eliminated to the CAF Confederation Cup after being declared 2:0 losers against Al Hilal in Sudan.[ads2]
Reports were that seven Asante Kotoko players and four officials were tested positive for the devastating coronavirus after a test was carried on the team.
Though Asante Kotoko have petitioned CAF over what happened in Sudan, Al Hilal have been included among the list of clubs who have qualified for the group stages of the CAF Champions League.[ads3]
Asante Kotoko will host ES Setif in the first leg in Ghana before the reverse fixture in Algeria.
Should Asante Kotoko eliminate ES Setif, the Ghana Premier League heavyweight will qualify to yhe group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup.[ads5]
