WAFA SC have secured the three maximum points at home against King Faisal in the week one of the Ghana Premier League.
The Academy Boys defeated King Faisal 4:3 at the Red Bull Arena in Sogakope on sunny Sunday afternoon.[ads2]
Konadu Yiadom broke the virginity of the game for the home team in the 17th minute but Kwame Peprah snatched the parity for the visitors to end the first half.
Godwin Agbevor restored WAFA to the lead again in just a minute after returning from the break before Daniel Lomotey scored the third goal for the home side in the 60th minute.[ads3]
King Faisal started making an incursions until Yakubu Wadudu pulled the second goal for the visitors.
Daniel Lomotey in the 68th minute netted the fourth goal (brace on the day) for WAFA SC before Kwame Peprah scored his second goal of the day for King Faisal.
