[ads1]Member of the Ghana Football Association Executive Committee, Samuel Anim Addo has said the resignation of Emmanuel Netwon Dasoberi from the GFA is a huge blow for the association.
Newton Dasoberi resigned from his various positions at the Ghana FA after about a decade with the association as Kyfilla.com earlier reported.[ads2]
Speaking on Oman FM, Samuel Anim Addo who double as the manager for Black Stars all-time leading topscorer Asamoah Gyan, believes Emmanuel Netwon Dasoberi has left a huge hole at the Ghana FA considering his vast experience working at the association.
“Dasoberi is a great football administrator and has left a huge hole at the GFA. It’s a big blow but such is life and I know his replacement will be named soon”, Anim Addo said.[ads3]
Dasoberi has joined Asante Kotoko as the Administrative Manager after resigning from his positions at the Ghana FA.
Reacting to Dasoberi’s appointment at Asante Kotoko, Samuel Anim Addo believes the Ghana Premier League heavyweight have made the smartest move and Ghana football will benefit a lot from the enterprising football administrator.[ads4]
“Is huge for him, I know Kotoko offered him something bigger than what he was receiving at the FA. He will bring a lot to Asante Kotoko, it’s the smartest move by Asante Kotoko. Am happy he didn’t move outside Ghana, imagining he left for Nigeria,Ghana will not benefit from all his experiences, so am happy”, he added.
Emmanuel Newton Dasoberi, before his resignation, was the deputy secretary in charge of administration and secretary to the GFA Club Licensing Board.
