Ghana Premier League side, AshantiGold Sporting Club have parted ways with four of their players.
AshantiGold have released the four players as part of pruning down their squad to a sizeable one for the upcoming league season.

The four player namely Akwasi Nti, Stephen Owusu, Musah Mohammed and Emmanuel Osei Baffour have been deemed surplus to requirements by coach Roberto Landi thus releasing them.
This was contained in a reports by Kumasi-based Sikka FM.
The releasing of the four players means AshantiGold will have to add new additions to the team as the next season’s CAF Confederation Cup beckons.

AshantiGold SC have already lost their potent striker Shafiu Mumuni who left the club after expiration of his contract.
The team have filled that void left by Shafiu Mumuni by signing Aduana Stars starman Yahaya Mohammed on a year loan deal.

Meanwhile, Appiah McCharty and defender Richard Osei Agyemang have renewed their contracts with AshantiGold SC.
AshantiGold are preparing for the 2020/2021 CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
