Jordan Ayew scored the only goal as Ghana defeated São Tome and Principe 0:1 in 2021 AFCON qualifiers at the Estadio Nacional 12 de Julho on Monday afternoon.

The Crystal Palace attacker scored from the spot in four minutes into the second half after Emmanuel Boateng was fouled by the São Tome goalie.
The victory has enabled Ghana to top the group C of the qualifiers and will play Sudan at home in the next game of the qualifiers on August 2020.
