Asante Kotoko goalkeeper, Danlad Ibrahim has been included in the Black Stars provisional squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, according to a grapevine source.[ads2]
Danlad, according to sources, is the only local-based goalkeeper in the Black Stars provisional squad submitted to FIFA ahead of the mundial.
His inclusion comes following his exploit with Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier league as well as the Black Galaxies and Black Meteors.[ads3]
He is expected to travel to Abu Dhabi on November 14 for the Black Stars final preparations.

Ghana will play a friendly game against Switzerland on November 17 where the squad will be prune down to 26 for the tournament in the Asian country.
Ghana is in group H alongside Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay, and will kick the World Cup campaign against the European country.[ads4]
