Genk forward, Joseph Paintsil has reportedly been dropped from Ghana’s final 26-man squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar later this month.[ads2]
The 24-year old, per reports, has been omitted from the Black Stars final squad despite his fine form for Genk in the Belgian league this season.
Paintsil has been in a blistering form this season, scoring six goals with five assists in thirteen matches for Genk.[ads3]
Meanwhile, coach Otto Addo is expected to announce the final squad before November 14, 2022.
Ghana will pitch camp in Abu Dhabi with the final 26 players expected to arrive on November 14 for the final preparations where the team will play Switzerland on November 17 before heading to Qatar.
Ghana is in group H of the World Cup alongside Portugal, Uruguay and South Korea.[ads4]
