Ghanaian boxer Patrick Allotey is currently in hot water for assaulting Asante Kotoko supporter on last Sunday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The WBO Super Welterweight champion was seen in a video mercilessly beating the hell out of the Kotoko supporter.

The incident happened during Hearts of Oak clash with Asante Kotoko in week six of the ongoing Ghana Premier League at the Accra Sports Stadium on last Sunday.

Speaking in an interview with Fox FM in Kumasi, the Public Relations Officer for Ghana Boxing Authority, Samuel Heywood Okain has outlined two sanctions the boxer may face for fighting in public.

According to Mr. Heywood Okain, boxer Patrick Allotey may be suspended or have his license revoked for assaulting the supporter.
Meanwhile, reports in the media indicate that, the Kotoko supporter has reported the case to the police.
