Aspiring Women Representative on the Ghana FA Executive Council, Evelyn Nsiah Asare believes Black Queens gaffer, Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe deserves another chance after failing to secure a qualification to the upcoming Summer Olympics in Tokyo.

The Black Queens of Ghana were booted out of the next year Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games qualifiers after suffering a painful 1-0 defeat to the Harambee Starlets of Kenya in Nairobi after a goalless game in the first-leg at Accra.
After the Black Queens elimination, some section of Ghanaians have been calling for the immediate sack of head coach Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe.

However, Evelyn Nsiah Asare who is the president for Ashanti Region based female side Nana Afia Kobi Ampem Ladies Sporting Club, believes Mercy Tagoe Quarcoe should be given another chance to prove herself.
“Mercy Tagoe didn’t had enough time to prepare her ladies, so she should given another chance to continue with the Black Queens job. She shouldn’t be sack because Ghana failed to secure a qualification to the Tokyo 2020 Olympics”, she told Nimde3 FM.
