[ads1]The National Sports Authority (NSA) has denied media speculations that some sports federations were deliberately denied the chance of attending the heads of contact sports meeting yesterday.
As part of ensuring a smooth resumption of sporting activities in the country, the NSA held a meeting with all heads of contact sports to deliberate on plans for the resumption of all contact sports in the country.[ads2]
This comes few days after President Akufo-Addo in his seventieth nationwide address gave the greenlight for all contact sports to resume after six months break due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
After the heads of contact sports meeting comes with media reportage that the NSA deliberately denied some sports federations the opportunity to attend the meeting.[ads3]
In a release signed by the acting Public Relations Officer of the NSA, Charles Amofah has denied the media speculations, stressing that the reportage are palpable false.
