AshantiGold sign highly-rated striker Michael Boakye

Ghana Premier League side, AshantiGold Sporting Club have completed the signing of striker Michael Boakye.

According to reports in the media, the 28-year old has joined AshantiGold Sporting Club on a two-year deal.

He put pen to paper for the Obuasi-based club on Saturday after a successful medicals.

The former Starke FC goal poacher is expected to strengthen the AshantiGold Sporting Club attack that already boast of former Ghana Premier League topscorer Hans Kwoffie.

Meanwhile, AshantiGold Sporting Club who are currently leading the Ghana Premier League table will host Medeama Sporting Club in week nine of the league but Michael Boakye may not be available for selection.
