I decided to come back to Kotoko to finish everything that I started - Albert Amoah
Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has revealed the main reason why he returned to Kumasi Asante Kotoko after signing for Libyan giants Al-Ahly Benghazi.
Amoah rejoined the Porcupine Warriors on loan from the Libyan outfit after he claimed he had some unfinished business at the Kumasi-based club. In his own words, during an interview with the Kotoko Media Team, he said,
“It was difficult leaving, especially because of how it ended in Morocco. I didn’t even know how to respond to messages.
“Knowing that so many fans are counting on me has given me a huge boost, and I hope to repay their faith. I decided to come back to Kotoko to finish everything that I started
Amoah was part of the Al-Ahly Benghazi team that was humiliated by Morocco’s Wydad Athletic in the Confederation Cup.
However, he is set to feature for Asante Kotoko against Baseke Holy Stars at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
