Out-of-contract Yusif Mubarik has confirmed talking to Asante Kotoko for a possible move.
According to the towering centre-back, his three-year contract with AshantiGold SC has ended and ready to join Asante Kotoko when approached.

Speaking on Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM, Yusif Mubarik is willing to fight for a position at Asante Kotoko when signed.
“It is true I have talked to Kotoko. I am no more an Ashantigold player,my contract has expired. In fact I have given them my word that I will play for them”

“I don’t fear competition. I am ever ready to fight for a position and I know everything will be successful”, Mubarik told Oyerepa FM.
Yusif Mubarik joined AshantiGold SC from Liberty Professionals in 2017 after an explosive performance in the Ghana Premier League.

He played a vital role in AshantiGold SC last campaign in the CAF Confederation Cup.
Yusif Mubarik capped 14 times for Ashantigold SC in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League season which was cancelled due to the Coronavirus outbreak.
