WAFA SC sign goalkeeper Anthony Brebo

Ghana Premier league outfit West African Football Academy (WAFA) have completed the signing of goalkeeper Anthony Brebo.

Brebo has a signed two-year deal for the Sogakope-based club on Wednesday after undergoing a successful medicals.

The young but talented netminder has joined WAFA from division one league side Sekondi Hasaacas after a stellar form last season.[ads2]

Anthony Brebo was Sekondi Hasaacas first-choice goalkeeper last season and was spectacular in between the sticks despite the team failing to secure a ticket to the next season’s Ghana Premier league.

The 24-year-old shot-stopper has left Sekondi Hasaacas FC upon his second stint at the club, where spent five years.[ads3]

He was a key figure in our 2020/2021 Division One League campaign, kept 13 clean-sheets in 24 appearances.

Anthony Brebo went through the ranks at Hasaacas; Marlavands(Hasaacas juvenile team) from the 2013 to 2015.[ads4]

He moved on to Karela United FC in the 2015/2016 Season before his second spell at Sekondi Hasaacas FC.

Brebo becomes the second player from Sekondi Hasaacas to join WAFA after Justus Torsutsey who has been heavily linked to Asante Kotoko after an amazing showdown.[ads5]
