The Municipal Chief Executive of the Jomoro Municipality in the Western region, Mr. Ernest Kofie has been chased out of his office by the party foot-soldiers in the municipality.

According to information reaching Kyfilla.com, the leadership of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Jomoro Constituency have expressed their disappointment in their Municipal Chief Executive for continuously disregarding lay down structures of the party.

It is believed that after several calls on the President of the Republic, Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo to remove the MCE out of office seems to have fallen on deaf ears, which has led to the party foot-soldiers and some Executives in the constituency taken the actions by chasing the Mr. Ernest Kofie out od his office this morning.

Report says, the party Executives and the foot-soldiers believe the MCE ‘does not do their bidding’ as party faithfuls.
Mr. Ernest Kofie led the party to victory in 2016 as the chairman and was nominated and subsequently confirmed as MCE for Jomoro Municipality in 2017, but has however been accused of now working against the success of the party.
