Referee Ben Samari and Referee Patrick Okyere today emerged as winners in the Takoradi Referees Association Election to retain posts as the chairman and vice till 2022.
The quadrennial election was held today, February 10 at the Ghana Secondary Technical School(GSTS) where the two retained both offices until 2022.
Aside the two, Ben Samari and Patrick Okyere that went through reelection to retain the Chairman and the Vice Chairman seats respectively, other positions such as: Treasurer and Secretary were picked up without a contest.
Referee George Vormavor served as the treasurer from 2014, but have left ths position for fitness instructor which he won with 34 votes to Osagyefo Rowell’s 26 votes.
